not much happening

I've been trying to think of something that I can tell about here on my blog but not much is happening. No news is good news, right? I will take a few photos and get back to you soon.

Time out for mom and dad!!! Adam and I recently had the opportunity to take some much needed R&R with some of our oldest friends. Adam went four wheeling with his best friends from High School, Harry and Brad (now our brother-in-law also) up Logan Canyon over into Bear Lake country. They seemed to have a ton of fun and I'm sure I will be hearing stories for years about it. They will probably grow each time I hear them too!

I just got back from the scrapbook retreat to die for. My good friend, Kim, from elementary school, invited me to Seattle to scrapbook with her. I have been wanting to go to visit her home for years so I decided to kill two birds with one stone. I had the best time! We got all of our meals cooked for us and we didn't even have to take our plates to the sink let alone clean up or do dishes! I didn't get a lot of sleep but I did get a ton of pages done, 110 I think was the final count!:) That's what I went for, to get a lot done, so I think the trip was successful.

We all need a break once in a while!!!

Picking Pumpkins

Wow! It can't be that time of year already can it? Time flies when your busy living life I guess. We finally decided that the cute little nagging from the kids about picking pumpkins got the best of us. In between storms we went outside to the garden and pulled them out. We only got 6 out of our cute little garden and the vine went all the way across the garden. I think Maddie is holding the whopper of the bunch. So we won't be winning any HUGE pumpkin contests that's for sure! We haven't moved them from the back lawn to the front porch yet so when we do I'll be sure to post a picture.
