May 2009

Our highlight of May is always Nathan and Adam's birthdays. Nathan on the 3rd and Adam on the 5th starts our month out with a bang! Party time at our house that's for sure! Nathan was determined that for his party this year he would like to have a bonfire and roast hot dogs at Grandpa Bleazard's house. He had been collecting sticks and garbage with Grandpa for months. Well the big day came and it poored rain all day! It had been raining all week too! The bonfire was out! Much to Nathan's disapointment we had to move the party to the school gym. We took our BBQ grill to grill up some hot dogs and watched a movie on the gym floor. It turned out pretty fun actually! Make lemons out of lemonade, right! We sure love our boy and don't know what our family would do without him. How is it that one little kid can make you so happy and so angry and so frustrated and so loved all in one day! That is Nathan for sure! We sure love you, buddy!

April 2009

The highlight of April was probably Easter. Grandma and Grandpa Bleazard have a tradition of buying the kids a new Easter outfil for church and we, like any thankful parent, welcome any gifts from Grandparents! For Easter we just did our regular stuff which is Stansbury Island with the Bleazard cousins and Easter sunday dinner with the family too. It's horible but I can't remember where we had Easter dinner this year but I know it was enjoyed!

My one-a-month highlight post!

Well I am burning th e midnight oil, like I always do, so here is what I have decided to do to get "caught up" with my past 6 months of "picture starvation" on the blog. I will do one (1) picture for each month. If I can hold to just that it will be a miracle that's for sure! Well, here goes nothing!

I'm awful, I admit it!

If I admit it openly does that make me a little bit less of a HUGE blog slacker? I will get some pictures up and do a decent post this weekend I promise. Not that I think anyone even will read this, I'm sure you've all given up on me long ago.

Just wondering...

I'm beginning to wonder if anyonw ever reads my blog anymore. I never get any comments, except for from Colleen, thanks Colleen. I am thinking I need to get one of those visitor trackers so that I can track you stalkers that never leave me a comment. I need some communication with the "outside world" and if you never comment I never know you are there. Please someone please comment. I guess I should put up a few pictures maybe that will get you? Later-

School

We'll I got to go in an get a few of my "personal" items. Wowwie cazowie- that was hard! I didn't think it would be easy but it was so weird. I took a few photos so I could remember my old school but I haven't taken them off the camera yet. Maybe I will get them up soon but I can't promise anything. It's time to get moving on school! I don't know how I will ever be ready in time. Usually it takes weeks being there night and day but this year I only have 16 days. I don't know where to start because I have NOTHING! All the stuff I brought home has to stay home-can't ever go back to a school. I have 1000s of books, probably at least 60 books on tape or CD and tons of other teaching stuff. Maybe I should start my own homeschool. I don't have any bulletin board stuff at all, couldn't take ANY of it because it was too smoky. I guess it's off to Utah Idaho I go. I wish I wouldn't have spent that gift certificate that a student's parent (thanks, Allison Ferguson!) gave me last year. I could have had $50 to use towards all of my new stuff. Oh well, maybe I should start one of those jars at the gas station. You know those jars when someone is needing help. No, that wouldn't work. I guess I will think of something. Take a big deep breath and get to work!

I love you, Antelope!

Years ago, I don't even know how many, Adam said "I love you, dear!" And I answered back "I love you too, Antelope!" I think this is how it all began. Now we have a joke about it and it has turned into a game. I just wanted to do a quick post today to tell my "deer" antelope hubby that I love him! Today is our 14th anniversary! I can't believe how fast time has flown. Yet it seems like I have been with him FOREVER! Not in a bad way but we have been through a lot and have worked it out together. Here's to many more HAPPPY ANNIVERSARIES! I love you, Adam! Thanks for putting up with me and all my little (and sometimes big) problems. You are a great dad and for the most part a great husband. I wouldn't trade you for all the tea in China. Maybe all the gold in China but I don't like tea anyway! I love you! Here's to a better year!
